No one likes a root canal, but Dr Carr made it as tolerable as possible. Clearly years of experience, top of the line equipment, and great assisting staff made the process not so bad.

I managed to get in quickly with Dr Carr due to someone canceling an appointment which was good for me struggling with a painful gum. It turned out I needed a root canal and Dr Carr had time to do it right then. It was much better than worrying about it for a few days. He promised me no pain and that is exactly what happened-he was wonderful. It took about 45 minutes and didn't hurt one bit. Afterwards he said to take tylenol which I did but really had very little pain then either. I recommend Dr Carr highly.

I have had more dental work than you can imagine - from extractions to crowns to root canals and I can honestly say that this man is the best practitioner I have ever experienced. Friendly, clear, concise, direct, detail oriented, thorough, and gives THE BEST shots, ever. His staff and assistants are also top notch. I would, hands down, strongly recommend this practice to anyone needing Endodontist work. 5 stars is not enough!

Dr. Gilman Carr is the best D.D.S. Endodontics in San Luis Obispo County. I had a root canal by a dentist in town. Unfortunately, my tooth still hurts. Dr. Gilman is very good at what he does. Root canals can be tricky. Never let your dentist do a root canal unless you want a dental implant. I completely trust Dr. Gilman Carr.

Dr. Carr is so incredibly smart! I loved his "bedside manner" he was polite and helpful all while be thorough and well organized. I found his staff to be kind and wonderful. I appreciated Dr. Carr's advice and expertise and to be honest, he isn't a bad looking guy either, which is helpful when you have a mouth full of hurt.
